Of all the movies screening this week,
I decided to watch this movie.

Just because, of my long-time love for Shia Labeouf.
    Aaaahhhh, sexayyyy
    :)

It is sequel, of the 1987 movie, Wall Street.
    (I haven't even born yet!)
    As the tittle says,
the movie evolves in the world of money.
I have no idea of what i'm into when I was going to watch this movie.
All I know is I can see lots and lots of Shia's face.
    :)
Ok let's talk about the movie.
Its all about stocks and investment.
If you have any freaking idea about what is it all about,
then you will get the picture.
I got the big picture of the movie,
    but in between the lines,
    I had difficulties to understand.
Thankfully, I brought the right person who understand this kind of stuff,
    and that is Adilah.
She do this kind of thing for her job.
    So Thanks Ad!

One thing I learn from watching the movie.
    MONEY IS EVIL.
    like really!
The movie shows how people can do anything for money,
in this case, hurting their loved ones.
Gekko used Jake to get his girlfriend to withdraw the 100 million that Gekkko had created for her since young so that he could run a company in England.
    Mean right?!
Thanks to this idiot, Jake and the girlfriend broke off their engagement,
because the girl could not trust him and his attitude was exactly like her father which she really despise.

And another thing is, its quite scary to see how this business work.
    Its pretty corrupted.
Business putting rumors to each other, to gain for themselves.
You must be darn good to be involved in it.
And to them, millions of money seems nothing!

So now, let's talk about Shia.
Most of the time he was all suit up.
    And honestly, he looks okay,
but it seems like i am seeing more of a kid in a suit.
    Heh.
So at one scene where he met Gekko at his apartment,
he looks awesome with that casual look.
He was just wearing a shirt with a cardigan and jeans.
    But oh my....
I was already dreaming about him and not concentrating with the movie for awhile.
    hahaha

If it weren't for him, I, for sure would not spend the money to watch this movie at the cinema.
But I am satisfied with myself that I watched a movie that is way out of the normal ones,
    romance, comedy, thriller, and dance.
So apart from me getting confused at times when watching,
I would give this movie 4/5 popcorns.
It shows relations to what had really happened in this world,
in this case, the financial crisis, that's why I like it.

So go watch it if you want to see something that is of different genre.
But please, go understand more about the stocks and shares, etc etc,
before you step into the cinema.
    Its good to know.

Ok I have one more movie review to talk.
    Maybe in another post.
    The movie Charlie St Cloud.
For sure, I am going to reveal spoilers for this movie.
    hahahha

I watched Glee Season 2 premiere already. I love it as much as the first season!
So here's my favorite scenes from the episode.
    :)

Sue Sylvester: Little bird told me, that someone spend the summer vacation getting a brand new sets of melons.  Even though, you know I have a very strict no-plastic policy in cheerios. Care to comment?

    Santanah Lopez:I.. just

Sue Sylvester: What would possess a person your age to get a boob job? You don't even know what's your body gonna look like? It's an insult to nature and completely distracting. I can't take my eyes out of it.I'm actually talking to them right now!

Santanah Lopez: I want people to notice me more. I don't get what the big deal is.

Sue Sylvester: Well the big deal is that a person who has to pump her nonnies full of gravy to feel good about herself, clearly doesn't have the self-esteem to be my head cheerleader.

    Santanah:(shocked)

Sue Sylvester: Quinn will replace you.

    Santanah Lopez: What.. D'you...

Sue Sylvester: Ohh, and boobs mickey, you're demoted to the bottom of the pyramid. So when it collapses, you're exploding sandbags will protect the squad from injury.

Santanah Lopez: (Giving the WHAT THE FUCK face)

Sue Sylvester: Now take your JUICY, VINE-RIPENED CHESTFRUIT  AND GET THE HELL OUT OF MY OFFICE

    Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAH

And of course the scene from my favorite character!
    Kurt Hummel:
"You know what, Jacob. It doesnt take much courage for people to park their curd cheese behind and barker lounges and log on to the internet and start to turn people down does it?
You know what does it take for some courage? Standing up and Singing about something. So here's a message for everyone that reads your blog. Next time, instead of posting anonymous comments online, say what you have to SAY TO MY FACE"
(Slushie drink thrown at his face)

Can't wait to watch for more episodes from Glee

I was just listening to the song from Spice Girls, Wannabe.
oh You know the song, "I wanna really really really wanna zigazagah"

Its such a nice song to sing with your girl-friends,
but if you were to asked to sing what you mean,
I guess it will be difficult.

    And you know why,
because it all starts with one species,
a species that most females are attracted to which is known as Male.
Wannabe is a song about telling them boys that,
"If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends,"

I'm thankful that I had not experience this nasty experience with any of my girl-friends.
But then, I am seeing this situation happen between my circle of friends.
I think I am such a busybody(or maybe if you are nice enough, you can  say I am caring),
and it is affecting me quite BAD.
I tried ways to help, but it seems not to work.
There's only one way left though, but it might turn out to be cat-fight.

Maybe this signs are telling me to do nothing at all,
and let nature takes it cause.
But I do hope that the friendships I had within my girl-friends,
and the friendships my girl-friends had within  each other,
would be like Blair Waldorf and Serena Van Der Woodsen.
They fought one minute, and friends back again the next minute.
    Apart from too much PDA,
at least I learn about friendship from this show.
    XOXO
    :)

Zac Efron new movie going to be out!!
    Who's excited for that??
Finally, we can see him in different light.
I have not yet seen him in the movie, Me and Orson Welles,
so I am pretty stoked to see how well he can act in a serious role.
No more singing, no more funny stuff for this hot stuff.
But I hope he goes half-naked though in some scenes, heheh

So this movie is basically about Zac who played Charlie,  is very close with his brother, called Sam.
But sadly, the brother died in an accident.
It seems so hard for him to move on,
even if there's a hot chick ,who is played by Amanda Crew, coming into his life.
Well, this is because Charlie is seeing his brother's spirits.

I'm trying not to read so much of the synopsis on the net, cos I will definitely stumble upon spoilers.
But, what I can sum up about the story is about Zac having to choose to be with the brother or the girl.
If I could choose for him,I'd definitely asked him to go with the girl!
It might seem easy for me but it's gonna be hard for Charlie to make this decision.
I haven't experience any loss of any of my close acquaintance, but I've watched one of the episodes from Drop Dead Diva about how this person dealt when he lost her wife.
It was really hard to let him go, but he managed to.

I believed that Charlie should move on with his present life and not stuck in the past with his brother,
as I am sure his brother would not want to see him leading that kind of life.
And it's not his fault his brother passed  away so he should not blame himself for the accident.

Now, I really want to see the movie badly!
I want to know what's the ending.
But for now, I guess I can only enjoy the trailer

Catch Zac Efron in his new romantic movie Charlie St. Cloud, opening in cinemas September 30!

Say hello to the DYSFUNCTIONAL family.
    A family of 6 plus an in-law.

    This is the parents,
    Liana and Khidir.
     These are their triplets.
    There's me, Mas and Sya.
Weirdly, mother carry us in her stomach at the same time but we were given birth at different dates in the month of February.
Mas came out first on the 9th, then came Sya, on the 15th, followed by me on the 21st.
    Pretty cool eh?
Mother was featured in the guiness book of record for having to give birth triplets at different dates.
    Kuddos Mother!

My eldest sister was married to a Dato' from Temenggong.
However, the marriage didn't turn out well because the guy cheated on her.
    ASS!
She was even featured in Berita Mingguan for weeks.

During the divorce trial which took months,
she has been wearing like this when she's in the public.
    So kesian

But not too worry, a few years later,
she met another prince charming, Fahmi.
They got married and have a cute baby called Isma!

But this in-law of mine is a little bit weird.
He has this alter-ego that will come out so suddenly,
which are feminine qualities to be exact.
He would then start introducing himself to people as Suzie

At first, mother was not into the idea of getting Mas  married to Fahmi/Suzie.
But he really did his best to please her until now...
So can say now, Mom is ok with him.
Sometimes she even called him, Suzie instead,
    haha.

Among us three, Sya is the brightest.
    Currently, she's studying in NTU.
Mother can't wait for her to graduate so that she could taste a big cheque from her.
Mother ader sikit mata duitan uh.

    Oh yah,
    I also have a step-siblings.
Mother used to be married with a businessman but he passed away when he was involved in a car accident.
    My step-sister name is Tatia.
She's not really in good terms with Father,
as she finds father a little bit immature.

On a brighter note, my step-brother, Bambang is very close with Father.
He is also known as father's driver side-kick

You must be wondering why I'm the only one wearing the headscarf.
Well, when the triplets were young, the family were not doing well financially.
So i was randomly chosen to be sent for adoption.
And the family who adopted me was a religious family,
I am religious but not extremely religious as them,
so at the tender age of 18, I decided to move back to this dysfunctional family of mine.

    And finally, my youngest sister.
    Actually, she is "anak terbuang".
Mother saw her under the void deck crying continuosly.
    and decided to keep her,
even though the family is having financial problems.
As years goes by, we realize Mira likes to talk to herself.
When she was sent for health-checkup, the doctor find out that she had a micro sickness of down syndrome.
It's not severe but can't be cured.
We still love her very much though.
    :)

So yeap, that was a wrap to this story we have created during our Hari Raya outing.
This time round, everyone was present at most houses.
Thanks ya'll for making my Hari Raya 2010 experience more wonderful.

    XOXO

I managed to catch a movie, Going the Distance, with Dionna last week.
And... I LOVE it so much.

A very good romantic movie about long-distance relationship.
I was actually surprised to know that it was M18.
When halfway watching the show, there were much cursing,
and why would I not love it more eh,
    hehe.

    Apart from that,
I love the movie so much because of the characters randomness.
It seems like some scenes does not have any scripts involved.
For example, at one scene, Justin Long and his friends came to a bar,
to get to know some ladies,
and they can start up a long conversation on the facial hair topic.
    hahahahah.

Many people are skeptical about long-distance relationship,
but this movie helps to show that the couple can make it work even if they are at different continent.
How to keep the long-distance relationship flame alive?
    PHONE SEX.
    hahahhahaha

I can't find anything bad about this movie,
so I would definitely give it a 5/5 popcorn.

Only one month, Ramadan comes and now it has gone.
    Pretty fast don't you think?
This Ramadan, I have immersed myself much in Geylang and the mosque.

Almost every week, you can see me at Geylang.
Its only once a year where the city is filled with lights,
and for sure, I enjoyed every moment I had with the friends I came with.

For sure, I'm gonna miss the Ramly Burger.

    The spicy Otah-Otah.

    Dengdeng.
In my preference, the best food OF ALL TIME!

And also, the "cuci mata at abang-abang" moment.
    Hehehe.
Can say, I am kinda satisfied with what I see.
    :)

But I'm pretty impressed with myself for spending some of my nights to visit one of the Almighty's house.
It's not that many, but hey, it is my first time of my 21 years doing terawih at the mosque.
    :)

I hoped in the month of Ramadn, all our prayers and good deeds would be acknowledged by Allah s.w.t.
And may we have another chance to come and meet Ramadan next year,
    InsyaAllah.

Now came the month of Syawal.
    Sooooo,
    I want to minta maaf.
    Any of my wrongdoings,
especially on how I talk which can be VERY VERY mean at times,
I hope you could forgive me.

May this Syawal would bring blessings to you and your family.
    Amin

8 am and I was ready to do spring cleaning.

    Mmmm, well, not really uh.

Started the spring cleaning with my room first.
Not much to do this year,
as I've kept the room tidy since the last time.
All thanks to the period of no studying, heh.

So i only cleaned one wadrobe,
my CLEO magazines which have been collecting the dust over the years,
    wipe my windows,
and sweep and mopped my room twice.
I can tell you for sure, my room is now dust-free.
    hehehe.

Then, I was so so lazy to clean the toilet after a short nap,
but managed to force myself to it.
So, I managed to complete my spring cleaning checklist.
The rest of the house cleaning were all done all thanks to my fast-paced mother.
I guess we are ready for Raya!!!

Eh wait, I haven't change my bedsheets yet.

03092010 night was spent at esplanade to watch the musical Fried Rice Paradise.
No pictures of my colleagues and I, because we're not vain like that.
But one thing for sure, I really look good on Friday.
One of the nice clothes that I've worn so far, like really.
    Hehehhehe

    Moving on...
the story revolves around this girl, Choo Bee Lean, who just turned 21 and her secret fried rice recipe.
The unique ingredients  is passed down by her late mother,
and was used to help her save her hometown, Jalan Calamansi from being taken over by some Boncet guy who wants to turn it into an entertainment area.
And I, for sure feels that  the lady who acted as this role last Friday is not this lady in the picture, but a substitute.
Too bad can't take any pictures while the show was running
So must resort to the pictures from the book.

So Taufik who acted as Johan and Sebastian Tan as XO are involved in this love triangle with her.

Then there's these two ladies who acted as Siti and Devi.

The guy on the right was the boncet guy that I was referring to.
He makes me laugh out loud with his usage of the Singlish language

All in all, the characters played  by the artists were done very well, and each character has definitely brought humor to the show.
The costumes were really colorful: really gives the 80's vibes.
And the props used also enhanced the entertainment of the musical.
Maybe its my first time watching a musical, so that is why I was very pleased with it.
But, I must say, its worth my $75.
    :)
