Of all the movies screening this week,
I decided to watch this movie.
Just because, of my long-time love for Shia Labeouf.
Aaaahhhh, sexayyyy
:)
It is sequel, of the 1987 movie, Wall Street.
(I haven't even born yet!)
As the tittle says,
the movie evolves in the world of money.
I have no idea of what i'm into when I was going to watch this movie.
All I know is I can see lots and lots of Shia's face.
:)
Ok let's talk about the movie.
Its all about stocks and investment.
If you have any freaking idea about what is it all about,
then you will get the picture.
I got the big picture of the movie,
but in between the lines,
I had difficulties to understand.
Thankfully, I brought the right person who understand this kind of stuff,
and that is Adilah.
She do this kind of thing for her job.
So Thanks Ad!
One thing I learn from watching the movie.
MONEY IS EVIL.
like really!
The movie shows how people can do anything for money,
in this case, hurting their loved ones.
Gekko used Jake to get his girlfriend to withdraw the 100 million that Gekkko had created for her since young so that he could run a company in England.
Mean right?!
Thanks to this idiot, Jake and the girlfriend broke off their engagement,
because the girl could not trust him and his attitude was exactly like her father which she really despise.
And another thing is, its quite scary to see how this business work.
Its pretty corrupted.
Business putting rumors to each other, to gain for themselves.
You must be darn good to be involved in it.
And to them, millions of money seems nothing!
So now, let's talk about Shia.
Most of the time he was all suit up.
And honestly, he looks okay,
but it seems like i am seeing more of a kid in a suit.
Heh.
So at one scene where he met Gekko at his apartment,
he looks awesome with that casual look.
He was just wearing a shirt with a cardigan and jeans.
But oh my....
I was already dreaming about him and not concentrating with the movie for awhile.
hahaha
If it weren't for him, I, for sure would not spend the money to watch this movie at the cinema.
But I am satisfied with myself that I watched a movie that is way out of the normal ones,
romance, comedy, thriller, and dance.
So apart from me getting confused at times when watching,
I would give this movie 4/5 popcorns.
It shows relations to what had really happened in this world,
in this case, the financial crisis, that's why I like it.
So go watch it if you want to see something that is of different genre.
But please, go understand more about the stocks and shares, etc etc,
before you step into the cinema.
Its good to know.
Ok I have one more movie review to talk.
Maybe in another post.
The movie Charlie St Cloud.
For sure, I am going to reveal spoilers for this movie.
hahahha
