Because...
I get the chance to go to the mediacorp radio station, 987fm.
Yeap, you heard it right.
The journey to the caldecott broadcast centre was a hassle.
The long-time waiting for the bus 28 caused me to drop off at geylang(which wasnt supposed to be the stop i should be stopping) and took a cab down.
Luckily, it was only $8.
The driver asked me where i want to go and i said to the radio building, and he really dropped me right in front the radio gate.
When i was about to pay, he asked me,
"You doing recording ah?"
"Mmm, yeah."
Then he stare at me,
i should have said this to him,
"uncle, relak ah. i will be on radio not on tv. you don need to see me with that look"
hehe
Thanks to my guts, i had a feeling that i should go to another building which was the main reception.
And i was DAMN right!
Come to the reception, my name was not registered in the computer.
Called up Rozz, and she was like saying,
"ouh i think i screwed up. Sorry its not the first time by the way."
Hahak
Then i exchanged my IC with this pass.
This pass is so cool.
Everywhere i go, there will be doors.
So i just need to tap the card, and the doors will open.
I almost got lost but there's a lady who seem to be unwillingly to help showed me the direction to the radio building.
Then took the lift up to level 6.
At the lift lobby, there were 2 doors, and i seriously am freaking scared to open any door.
Called up Rozz again, and she led me the way.
The place was like so awesome cos there are many studios like Class 95, 93.3, etc etc
So i saw Rozz in the 987 Studio and i thought that we would be doing the recording in there but we werent.
So we went into this small room, and basically i sat right in front of a mike which is kind of high for me.
Thanks to me preparing my script, we were done in about half an hour.
yeap, i was sooo semangat that i prepare what i wanted to say and stayed late till 330 am last night
It is really worth it!!
During intervals, i had cool conversations with Rozz;
We talked about her job scope, told her why i felt like i am a music jukebox, crazy talk about david cook (we are really big fans of him) and she even recommend me to try my luck to find attachment at the radio corp comm department. Awesome!!
One time, DJ Young came in.
And i was so so so excited
Get the chance to talk to him for a few secs and i told him that i felt sad for him cos Daniel Ong always bully him, and his reply was Funny!
Then, i asked Rozz to take a picture with me.
So we went to the 987 studio to take a picture together with Miss Vendetta
See how rockish was Rozz hairstyle. \m/
Final goodbyes ended getting a hug from Rozz

On the way, i saw this Big House,
Seriously, Its DAMN BIG
Anyway my recordings today will be on air this coming Sunday at 1pm on 987fm
The thing is i'm going to be working, so i really need help in getting someone to record everything for me.
Help PLEASE!
